Honneywell site redevelopment

Dear Yarra River Neighbours,

Re The Honeywell site proposal

Boroondara Council has sent a letter with its concerns on the Honeywell Development to the Ciy of Yarra Council.    You can download Boroondara Councils preliminary submission to City of Yarra at http://boroondara.vic.gov.au/freestyler/files/UPC Attachments 010210 Part 2a.pdf.  The City of Boroondara has cited seven (7) areas of concern.

Boroondara Council will review this paper at the Urban Planning Special Committee Meeting at the 8PM session on Monday the 1st of February 2010, Council Chamber, 8 Inglesby Road, Camberwell.

Please keep in mind that the relevant planning authority at this time for this development is the City of Yarra.  The best outcome will occur if the City of Yarra Council is left to deal with this and the Minister for Planning does not intervene.

Please ensure that you have lodged your concerns with the City of Yarra Planning Dept all are welcome at the Boroondara Meeting on the 1st of Feb at the 8PM session.

Thank you to all of you who have taken the time to send me a copy of your concerns, or contacted me directly to share your concerns.

Please note that there is a community meeting on Sunday the 31st at 4PM, please contact me for the address if you wish to come.
